I received a suprise on the very first day of the brand new year!
And what is that suprise???
8:30am sharp on 01/01/06...
I woke up to my hubby's call...
"Ayang...moto rosak!"
After almost 2 years without any problems...
The bike decided to go berserk on us this time..

It all started that fateful day.....
My hubby was happily riding home from work...
Obviously can't wait to get home to his beloved wife...
Who was still asleep at that very moment.
When suddenly he heard a stange sound coming from the bike...
And then....
The engine just died on him...
while he was on the middle of the road...
(Thank God nothing happen to him)
And it was raining!
So what was he to do....
No experience watsoever with a berserk bike...
He called his wife...
His wife was shocked...never expected the bike to die off on a new year....
And what was the wife to do....
No experience watsoever with a berserk bike...
And so she called her father....
Her father was also shocked..the bike has never given any problem at all!
And so her father suggested to call his other son-in-law..
Who happens to know a thing or two about bikes....
And so he came....to the rescue!
After a thorough check...
Nothing could be done, he said....
He arranged with his fren who happened to have a lorry to send the bike to the workshop...
And then what happen...??
"This bike needs an OVERHAUL!...," said the mechanic.
"OVERHAUL?!?! How much will it cost?" asked hubby.
"Around $800 plus, all original parts...." the mechanic answered.
And so hubby called the wife to explain the senario...
No choice...we still need the bike...

And so we started this New Year $800 poorer!
(But its ok...i believe you get some and you lose some)
Lucky hubby has some savings stored away...
If not....If not....If not.....
(Oh no, I've learnt not to take loans thru the monopoly game with Omar and Mary...that guy made me a bankrupt....and it's because of loans!)

Moral of the story: Vehicle owners please put aside some savings for your beloved vehicle...you can never guess when it decide to go berserk on you!
